Music Lessons Services
Our instructors are highly qualified and
experienced having at least a Bachelors degree
in Music. We offer flexible scheduling, free
parking in a convenient location at the Varsity
Building on University Avenue. Our studios are
spacious and we have a great reception
area/waiting room for families.

GUITAR BASS LESSONS
Landon Mattox is offering lessons in Electric and
Acoustic Guitar, Ukulele and Bass guitar. He
teaches the guitar and ukulele classes at
Kapiolani Community College and is the owner of
Honolulu Music Lessons Workshop. He has been
teaching guitar, ukulele and bass lessons for
over 20 years and for the past 10 years right
here in Honolulu. Landon has received a Masters
Degree in Music Education and a Masters Degree
in Jazz Studies from the University of North
Texas.

UKULELE LESSONS
Landon Mattox began studying ukulele as a
secondary instrument and has been teaching
ukulele lessons and performing professionally in
Honolulu for the past 10 years. He teaches the
guitar and ukulele classes at Kapiolani Community
College and is the owner of Honolulu Music
Lessons Workshop. Landon has received a Masters
Degree in Music Education and a Masters Degree
in Jazz Studies from the University of North
Texas and taught for 4 years at
Xinghai Conservatory of Music in Guangzhou, China
where he helped to establish the first Jazz
Studies degree program offered by that
conservatory.

PIANO LESSONS
Benjamin Perry offers lessons in violin, viola,
cello, double bass, piano, guitar and
ukulele. Benjamin just recently moved to Honolulu
after 10 years of teaching around the world,
first at the British School of Bahrain, then
Umoja Music School, a US non-profit in Tanzania,
and in between, teaching privately in Spain and
back in the UK where he is originally from.
