DELICACIES AROUND THE WORLD
2
  • Food is the most memorable aspects of travelling
in a country. The cuisines and the traditional
taste play an integral part in defining a
nations culture. At Orbis Travels, we love
crafting custom journeys for food lovers. Here
are some of the dishes you need to have on your
    bucket list!

Turkey
  • Even the most elite, have a hard time resisting
Simit and the tantalizing scent of this freshly
    baked, molasses-dipped and sesame-crusted dough.
  • Balik-ekmek, also known as the fish sandwiches,
is impossible to ignore while on the shore.

These are made of stuffed grape leaves and is
served as an appetizer with lemon wedges.

Cyprus
  • Halloumi is not only the king of the grilled
cheese but also the source of pride as only
Cyprus has the right to produce it.

particular dark green cabbage, not widely
    available beyond Portugals borders.

    every day, literally.

Malta
  • Traditionally baked, Maltese bread tastes nothing
like a regular loaf of sliced white bread. Try it
with ingredients like tuna and capers.
  • The most popular snack is pastizzi fluffy pastry
stuffed with either ricotta cheese or a paste of
    peas.

varieties Paella Valenciana (rabbit and chicken)
