2OVERVIEW
- A foreigner who wants to live in UAE for a long
period needs a Residence Visa. - If they want to work in a company, its mandatory
to secure a Work Permit in the UAE. - The process is started with a legal form called
Work Permit from MoHRE. - The employee can enter the UAE with this valid
work permit and its valid for 2 months from the
date of issue. - After you enter the UAE with the approval you
received from the MoHRE, Your sponsor has to
complete the legal formalities of the employees
like Residence Visa, Medical Fitness Test,
Emirates ID, and after all, this applies for a
Labor Card. - After getting the residence visa, the employee
can sponsor their family members in UAE (If they
meet the requirements).
3Work Permit
- The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation
(MoHRE) will issue the work permits for the
employer.
4- Passport copy of the Applicant (Validity should
be more than 6 months). - Passport size photo (white background).
- Current Residency visa and Emirates ID Copy, NOC
from Existing Company. - Bachelors degree certificate (attested by UAE
embassy and MOFA in Dubai) this applies only to
the executive and managerial designations. - Salary Details.
Under Company Sponsorship
5Employment Visa
A foreigner who is age 18 or more can work in the
UAE. There is no minimum age for doing work in
the UAE, but for the workers over the age of 65,
the company needs to pay more.
6Documents needed
- Passport copy of the Applicant
(Validity should be more than 6
months). - Passport size photo (white background).
- Current visa cancellation or Tourist visa copy
(If the applicant is inside the
country). - Bachelors degree certificate (attested by UAE
embassy and MOFA in Dubai) this applies only to

7 The Employer can apply for the labor card after
getting the Residence Visa of the employee. For
getting a Work Permit, the employee needs all
documents like Passport Copy, Photo, Emirates
ID, Entry Permit form ministry of labor, Company
card from the Employer, Company Commercial

Arabic.
