Roy Blackburn is a Medicine Doctor and studied at
the American University of the Caribbean in 1987.
He possesses professional experience working in
various hospitals and is well aware of
professional ethics at a healthcare institution.

Dr. Roy Manell Blackburn III started his medical
career as a physician employee. Then he became
Medical Director on an independent contract basis
at St. Michael Rehabilitation Hospital. He
followed the Medical Director's journey and
served North Monroe Rehabilitation hospital and
Bastrop Rehabilitation Hospital.

Dr. Roy Blackburn has over 20 years' experience
in diverse environments, including small group
practice, hospital-based practice with
administrative duties, large multispecialty
outpatient clinic, large multi-modality
outpatient pain clinic, and solo practice.

In January 2006, Dr. Roy Manell Blackburn became
a member of the Pain Society of Oregon and the
Association of American Physicians and Surgeons.
He was also associated with Educational
Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates. For a
tenure of 7 years, he was a designated doctor for
Texas Workman Comp Commission and was appointed
to resolve disputes between dissenting
Independent Medical Exams.

Currently, Dr. Roy Blackburn is serving at Occupy
Medical Clinic. Being a kid, his interests were
always inclined towards music and medicine. Apart
from being a doctor of medicine, he plays good
guitar and piano.
