How To Add A Journal Entry?
  • In case you want to create a new journal entry,
    heres the method
  • Navigate to the Company menu and click on Make
    General Journal Entries.
  • Fill out the fields for creating your journal
    entry. Ensure your debits equal your credits
    after completion.
  • Click on Save/Save Close.
  • After knowing about the steps for adding a

    editing a journal entry.

How To Edit A Journal Entry?
  • In case you want to edit a journal entry, heres
    the best method
  • First, Go to the Company menu and choose Make
    General Journal Entries.
  • Find and choose that journal entry which you need
    to edit
  • In QB for Windows Choose Find and enter the
    Name, Date, Entry No., or Amount and then select
    Find.
  • In QB for Mac From the list on the left side of
    the Make General Journal Entries, Find and select
    the journal entry window.

    it (in Windows) then process your updates. When
    youre done with this, select Save/Save Close.
  • For recording the changes, select Yes.
