1 St Anne Marine National Park in
Seychelles Seychelles Resort Spa
There are a lot of things to do in Seychelles,
especially when it comes to visiting natural
parks and reserves.
2St. Anne Island was the location of Seychelles
first settlement in 1770, away from the once
crocodile-infested swamps on Mahé
3Roughly 20 minutes from Mahé by slow boat, this
Marine National Park has one of the largest areas
of sea grass of the granitic islands where green
and hawksbill turtles are often found.
4Bottlenose Dolphins are also frequent in the
park.
5There are Creole restaurants on the islands of
Moyenne and Cerf with a number of excellent
gourmet restaurants on Ste. Anne itself.
6The St. Anne Marine National Park is an important
part of the natural and cultural heritage of the
Seychellois people.
7Flora The park is adorned with 75 endemic
species of flora, such as mosses, lichens, sea
weeds, algae and coastal shrubs and plantations.

varieties of fishes, amphibians and reptiles.
