Have planned to study in the beautiful country of
the world, Malta, but worrying about
the lengthy visa process! VFS is the most
preferred visa process because of its updated
solution over the traditional method. It is an
updated version of a conventional way which
reduces unnecessary e?ort.
So, take a quick visit to some essential elements
before applying for Malta
Before ?lling out the application form (step 5)
and booking an appointment (step 6),
please prepare the following documentation for
your student visa

MALTA STUDY VISA CHECKLIST
(No documents should be printed back to back)
1. Application Form duly ?lled in and signed by
the applicant.
2. Two recent Passport size photographs in colour
with white background (3.5cm x 4.5cm). Please do
not staple the photographs to the
Application Form
3. Passport/Travel document must
a). Have a validity of at least 3 months after
the intended stay
b). Have been issued with in the previous 10
years and the validity must not exceed 10 years
c). Have at least 2 blank pages
d). All previous Passports must be presented
4. Overseas Travel Medical Insurance valid for
all Schengen Countries. The insurance has to
cover the applicant for at least 30,000
Euros or equivalent, for all risks e.g. accident,
illness, medical emergency, evacuation etc. For
this purpose, Insurance may only be
purchased from one of 16 Schengen recognized
Insurance Companies in India.
5. Travel Itinerary with dates (for less than 90
day courses include return ?ights). Once the Visa
is approved, a con?rmed return ?ight ticket
may be requested prior to Visa being issued.

6. Proof of su?cient funds to cover all expenses
(tuition fee and daily expenses) during the
study period. The funds may be under the
parents/legal guardians name. Either
i). A letter (signed and stamped) from the bank
stating the available balance AND
ii). Original bank statements (signed and
stamped) for the last 3 months
7. Proof of Accommodation Either
i). A hotel booking OR
ii). Declaration of Proof signed by the invitee
and endorsed by a notary photocopy of invitees
ID card or Passport
8. Originals and 1 copy of the Educational
Certi?cates apostilled by the Indian Ministry of
External A?airs
9. Letter from the Educational Institute in
Malta stating that the applicant has been o?ered
a place in the course.
10. One (1) photocopy of the applicants entire
passport/s.
11. Notarized No Objection Certi?cate from both
parents if applicant is a minor
i) The High Commission reserves the right to
request further documentation and/or personal
interview. ii) Submission of the above
documentation does not guarantee that a visa is
granted iii) Documents should be submitted in
original. Should you wish to keep originals
kindly include an A4 photocopy as well, but bring
the originals when submitting applications.
