5 Bollywood Movies with Maximum Awards But Just
Didnt Deserve

Movies Awards What to Interpret?
  • Each year comes a lot of Bollywood movies, their
reviews, the controversies surrounding them, and
then the award shows to declare which ones are
the best of all. However, time and again, we have
seen some movies winning many awards but deep
inside it made us question our faith in cinema as
they did just not deserve at all.
  • These movies mostly have a few attributes in
common most are big directorial ventures,
over-the-top star cast, lavish and fancy appeal,
and massy item numbers. But sadly, when we look
back at some of the cinematic masterpieces
created over the time, none of them won any
award. If youve a Dish TV and happen to relocate
to another place, call Dish TV home pick service
to let you move your DTH smoothly so that the
movie mania at your new place never stops.
  • So here are some of the Bollywood movies winning
maximum number of awards but didnt deserve any

3
Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai (92 awards)
  • I know what youre thinking! Well, this Hrithik
Roshans debut movie was a huge rage back then as
girls just swoon over this humungous star. So,
when I ended up watching this movie, I found it
one big masala potboiler kind of movie but
nothing too amazing to deserve such high award
count. Well, not many know that this movie has
itself registered in Guinness World Record for
having won the maximum number of awards.

4
Jab Tak Hai Jaan (30 awards)
  • Bonafide super director Yash Chopras last movie,
Jab Tak Hai Jaan starred Shahrukh Khan and
Katrina Kaif in lead roles and was set against
the backdrop of a romantic love angle. This movie
had quite a few flaws and I just couldnt
understand how it managed to gather so many
awards. The whole chronology of the lead actor
from a street musician to a bomb expert and
losing his memory left me confused and gasping.

5
Krrish (15 awards)
  • Well, for a brief amount of time it was
speculated to be Indias entry for Oscars in 2007
but that never saw the daylight. The film
starring Hrithik Roshan as a superhero was
overflowing with many blunders and a loose
storyline. It seemed more like an Indian
directors desperate attempt at making an Indian
superhero movie but failed miserably. The film
won 15 awards but I wont have even given it one
    star.

6
Chennai Express (25 awards)
  • This is probably the crappiest of all, if you ask
my opinion. An essentially masala potboiler
having just too many drama elements and forceful
comic situations this movie failed to engage me
creatively even for a nano second. Chennai
Express managed to gather 25 awards which are
still like a Pandora box for me having no
answers. May be Rohit Shetty knows what happened!

7
Raja Hindustani (12 awards)
  • When I watched this Hindi movie, the only thing I
found worth applauding was Karisma Kapoors
jaw-dropping transformation that became the hot
favourite topic. The movie is quite dated concept
for a 90s movie and although both Aamir and
Karisma both are seasoned actors the film just
failed to convince me of the logic behind 12
    awards!
