What is Glaucoma?
Glaucoma is an eye-illness in which damage is
caused to the optic nerve. The optic nerve is
responsible for sending visual information to the
brain. The brain cant interpret the information
without any signals from the optic nerves. In
most cases, Glaucoma is caused due to unusually
high pressure inside the eye with age. That high
pressure becomes the chief reason for eroding the
nerves thus leading to vision deficiency or
blindness.

Open-Angle Glaucoma is the most

or indications aside from slow vision loss with

Angle Closure Glaucoma
Angle-Closure Glaucoma is a critical situation,
which is caused due to rapid build-up and release
of fluid in the eye. This may cause severe pain
in the eye, nausea, and blurred vision.
Congenital Glaucoma
Congenital Glaucoma cases have abnormal fluid in
the eyes responsible for causing cloudy eyes,
tearing, or sensitivity to light. This problem
can be hereditary.
Secondary Glaucoma Secondary Glaucoma is often
caused due to injury or any other problem such as
cataracts, or eye tumors.
