Mobius Foundation is setting up the first ever
school in India and South Asia to take a leading
role in promoting Education for Global
Citizenship and Sustainable Development. With the
objective of creating awareness amongst students
and providing quality education with respect to
Environment, the World Environment School, at
Kodagu, India, will open its doors to students in
April 2021.

Why Coorg
Coorg, also known as Kodagu, a tranquil area in
Southern Karnataka cradled in the Western Ghats,
fondly known as Scotland of India. It is well
known for its beauty, wonderfully varied
wildlife, world-class coffee farming and the
Kodavas, the ethnic warrior people of Coorg. From
the scenic Pushpagiri Reserves to the vast
Brahmagiri Wildlife Sanctuaries, the evergreen
Nagarhole National Park or the pristine
Devarakadu Valleys, Coorg embodies the
magnificence of nature.

Mr. Pradip Burman has always had a passion for
education and the environment. It is his vision
to combine the two in a new flagship
co-educational boarding school for students aged
11-18 with national, regional and global appeal.

Our Partner School
WESc is delighted to have Whitgift as its partner
school. The Whitgift Foundation was established
in 1596, a legacy to the people of Croydon from
John Whitgift, through its mission of care for
the elderly and education for the young and which
lies at the heart of its charitable activity
today.

At WESc, our intent will be to treat every
student as an individual and develop their
intellectual, emotional, social, physical,
artistic, creative and spiritual potential. In
