• Changthang Wildlife Sanctuary
• Located at an altitude of about 4000-9000 feet in
  the Ladakhi Changthang Plateau in the Leh
  district, Changthang Wildlife Sanctuary is
  considered as the second largest nature reserve
  after the Northeast Greenland National Park in
  Denmark due to a range of rare and exotic flora
  and fauna present here.

• Apart from the fact that it is home to various
  plants and animals, it comprises of the highest
  lakes -

• Tso Moriri, Pangong Tso, and Tso Kar. The
  sanctuary is also close to Korzok Monastery which
  is one of the highlights of the Changthang
