01 - Trace back your steps
Take a moment to calm down and try to remember.
Trace back your steps and where you had been in
the last 10 minutes, to give you a clue where you
might have forgotten the keys.

02 - The String Method
This trick will only work if your car has
post-style door locks. So basically, you take a
string (or a shoelace) and tie a knot in the
middle. Wedge the door open slightly and keep
prancing the string from both sides until it
pulls the lock open.

03 - Wedge and Rod
Use a coat hanger for this method. Straighten it
out and let the rod slide in from the side that
is slightly wedged open. Applies to cars that
have automatic lock buttons on the armrest of the
chair.

04 - Hanger Method
This time, dont straighten out the coat hanger
completely. Keep the end curved to give a hook.
Slip the hook behind the weather-stripping at the
bottom of your cars window and keep rotating
until you latch onto the lock mechanism.

05 - Call Roadside Assistance
If youre unable to break into your car using any
of these methods, the last resort is to call a
towing service that provides roadside assistance.
