Seychelles is a visa free country However, you
should know a few rules that are necessary for
issuing a residence permit in the country.

vegetables, tea, fruits, plants and their
seedlings should be brought into the Seychelles.
The import of soil, non-canned meat and meat
products, medicines, poisons and drugs is also
prohibited. Coco de Mer coconuts cannot be
exported from the country. It is necessary to
obtain a special permit for their export, which
is issued by the Seychelles Department of the
Environment. This clearance costs 10 rupees. It
is also prohibited to export shells, corals, live
fish and any products from it, as well as any
products from tortoise shell.

Pets can be brought into the islands only
subject to the availability of an internationally
recognized veterinary certificate. This document
must be issued at least 30 days before the trip.
Seychelles Veterinary Director General approval
is also required. All imported animals must be
quarantined for a period of 14 to 180 days. Birds
