American parents spend a collective US3.5
Billion on summer camp each year, there are
countless reasons behind that with the most
important reason being the fact that summer camp
can be a meaningful experience that helps kids
learn important life lessons and have fun along
the way. According to researchers, summer camp
makes a positive difference in childrens lives.

Independence- A summer camp provides kids needed
time away from family and regular friend groups.
These experiences give them the required space to
gain independence. Your child will gain the
confidence that they can take care of themselves
and also contribute to something
bigger. Relationship Skills- A great camp
experience involves making new friends, offering
kids chances to practice the skills needed to
build and maintain relationships. Appreciating
Differences- Building and maintaining
relationships requires the ability to understand
and appreciate differences among people and great
camps just do that.

Connection with Nature- There are no two ways
about the fact that summer camps have connected
kids to nature for about as long as kids have
been going to camp and great camps will continue
to connect kids to nature through nature-based
programming and simply being outside. Kids get to
be themselves- In this highly connected and
stressful world where we are presently living in,
there has been an increased interest in being
more authentically engaged with others and our
world. In a great camp, your child will get to
play in non-virtual worlds and interact with
friends face to face rather than through a
device. Most importantly, kids get to be kids at
camps- there cannot be any other reason more
compelling than this, it highlights the
importance of the camp.

New Generation Learning Center offers a summer
program for ages 2 -4 and Summer Camp Morris
County, NJ for ages 5-10 years old. Space is
limited, siblings of the currently enrolled
students will be placed into the program first.
