Importance of sports in students life
  • When we talk about a student, an image of a child
    with a school bag and lots of books comes in our
    mind. However, the environment of a school should
    not just be confined to academics. Only academics
    would make a child bookworm. That is why there
    are many other activities that are essential for
    the holistic development of students. These
    include extracurricular activities and sports.

  • To some parents, sports games may appear as
    wastage of time. However, sports are essential
    for complete development of the students. Sports
    not only keep the students healthy but these also
    contribute to their mental development. Sports
    allow the students to get rid of their monotonous
    routine. These also instill personality traits
    like confidence, self-esteem, team spirit,
    compassion, etc, in the students.
