Today we Will Learn

• How to Make a Model of Coffee Cup in 3ds Max

Coffee Mug

• Today we are going to create this coffee mug or
  string similar something simple but well theres
  still some techniques in there which you can use
  almost every day. So well start obviously with
  cylinder what else. I am just going to just
  Ballpark it like this just do whatever 16 always
  on ayah number start at the top and create a hole
  in it. So use insert and extrude it doesnt
  really matter which direction in or out. You just
  have to do you move it inwards.

Difficult Part

• I see I made it a little bit squarer you look it
  inwards. I see I made it a little bit more square
  yes look at this fantastic that is amazing you
  could almost stop here its so good so do it the
  same at the bottom let me inside and move that a
  little up another inside and collapsed at
  collapse so now for the handle thats basically
  the difficult part. Lets draw a line lets do
  something fancy like wow thats horrible. Lets
  just delete this like dad.

Extrude Long Spline

• Alright so just selects all the polygons sliced
  that stuff up slice so lets say so around here
  around there. We are also sliding the inside but
  who cares polygons are free make as many as we
  want. So there we go so now for the fancy bit.
  Lets see why does this thing its not that wide
  so lets do yes. I am going to make this little
  flatter and this one too. I am going to use the
  extrude long spline but not before we rotate this
  thing by twelve and a half for only 12. Lets see
  how many degrees 360 divided by 12 or 60 divided
  by 16. So its 1111 degrees what its not perfect
  doesnt matter.

Turbo Smooth

• So now we select this one and well use the
  extrude long spline extrude along spline. Click
  pick this one yes a little more segment more a
  little fantastic thats then. Lets delete this
  and that one and then got a bridge. So I am going
  to select these edges and these once. Lets work
  I sometimes does it and the orientation is the
  same so well bridge this one and the other
  there. Lets you work yes so. We are almost their
  turbo smooth looks pretty good but be a little
  bit better. So were going to make it better make
  this limb up and then little down same here
  little up a little down and then we are going to
  mm.

Little Bridge

• Okay click quick well like a 10 minutes yes, I
  increase some iterations. Its actually
  completely different. But thats because I wanted
  a more like an ear-shaped here instead of this
  oval one out of like that. So I am going to make
  a little bit squarer just leave it too much. So
  now just keep it this way thats it a little
  connecting little chamfering little turbo smooth
  little bridge just important things that you use
  all the time when modeling. I hope you enjoyed it
