  • Many US homes are simply incomplete without the
addition of a dog, but while they make wonderful
pets and help to make our lives and our homes
complete, they can make it dirty, too. However,
with these tips, your furry best friend need not
ruin your home, leaving you free to enjoy your
relationship with your dog without the stress of
    dirt and grime
  • Regular grooming
  • Brushing your dog frequently can help to limit
the amount of fur and dander that falls onto your
floors and furniture, and if your pet has long
fur or sheds often, then grooming them every day
    may be necessary.

3
  • Put a sheet or towel over your dogs bed
  • Your dog wont mind sleeping on a sheet or towel
placed on top of their bed, and when you do this,
it means that you can take the sheet outside and
give it a good shake to help get rid of excess
hair and dirt that might otherwise end up on your
    floors.
  • Get an electrostatic mop
  • These work wonders for mopping up dust, dirt, and
debris that your dog might bring inside.

4
  • Have a lint roller on hand
  • Dark clothes will be the first to show up pet
hairs, and if youre heading out of the house,
the last thing you want to be seen in are clothes
covered in your dogs fur. Have a lint roller
handy for eliminating such hair and dander before
    you leave the house.

5
  • Keep your pet off the furniture
  • This is the most effective way of ensuring that
your furniture remains clean and free of fur, but
if you must have your dog share your furniture,
then leave a blanket, sheet or towel over one
section of it and try to encourage your pet to
lie there rather than wherever they choose.
  • Keep a towel near your entrances
  • Having a towel especially for your pet kept next
to every entrance/exit means that you can wipe
their paws before they come into the home.

6
  • Give your pet regular baths
  • While some pets hate getting a bath, many enjoy
it, and it can be a fun thing to get the kids
involved with. Regular bathing helps to keep your
pet clean, smelling fresh and cuts down on the
amount of hair that they will shed in your home.
  • So, there you have it, Fido doesnt have to make
your home dirty and smell unclean. If you have
multiple pets and are struggling to keep your
home clean, however, it might be best to seek
professional help from a cleaning company that
way you never have to worry about dirt and grime
building up from your beloved pets.
