Jim Corbett National Park
The Jim Corbett National Park in the state of
Uttarakhand is highly visited North India tourist
destination. It is one of the oldest national
parks in the country and has been named after Jim
Corbett. The total area of the Park is about
530.8 square km that covers hills, the Ramganga
River, lakes and grasslands. During Jim Corbett
adventure tour the common sightings here are the
sambhar deer, chital, langurs, Himalayan
black bears, elephants, leopards, eagles, birds
of different species, domestic fowls, reptiles
and the Bengal tiger. The Park has enough places
for accommodating tourists. The nearest railway
station is Ramnagar at a distance of 12 kms from
the Park. It is well linked by roads and highways
from nearby states.

Bandhavgarh National Park
The Bandhavgarh National Park is located in the
Umaria district in Madhya Pradesh. The Park has
mythological sentiments attached to it as it has
been known to exist from during the days of the
Ramayana. Amidst the Park is the Bandhavgarh
Fort surrounded by caves containing writings in
Brahmi scripts. One can catch a 360-degree view
of forest from the fort. The Park is widely
populated by tigers, most famously the white
Bengal
tigers. The other species that one gets to see
here are deer, elephants, reptiles and variety of
birds. The park has lots of jungle loges and
resort properties for tourists to stay. Jabalpur
is the nearest place from where tourists can
reach the park by road.

Ranthambore National Park
The Ranthambore National Park is most important
part of Rajasthan wildlife tour which located in
the Sawai Madhopur region in the northern Indian
state of Rajasthan. The Park has been in
existence since the days of princes and was
adopted as a Project tiger reserve in 1973 by the
Government of India. It is famous for the Bengal
tigers that can be easily spotted, especially
from November to May. The other wildlife species
that habitat the park are the
Nilgai, the chital, mugger crocodile, Indian
leopard, sambhar deer, sloth bear, striped hyena
and many more. Jaipur is the nearest airport
located at a distance of 140 kms and the closest
railway station is Sawai Madhopur. The park is
surrounded by many government and private hotels.

Hemis National Park in Ladakh
Hemis National Park in Ladakh Region of Jammu and
Kashmir, it is another beautiful wildlife tourist
destination in North India is this park in the
midst of snow and pine forests. Set in a
picturesque setting the park is home to the
Tibetan wolf, blue sheep, snow leopard, the red
fox and the Asiatic Ibex.  Located 5 kms away
from Leh, the Park can be reached using the
Leh-Manali national highway. Alternately tourists
can take the train upto Kalka in Himachal Pradesh
and then hire a cab to reach here. One gets to
stay in local home-stays in the nearby villages.

Great Himalayan National Park
The Great Himalayan National Park located in the
Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh. Spread over
an area of 1171 square km and located at a height
ranging from 1500 metres to 6000 metres, the
forest boosts of housing more than 375 species of
fauna. It is also listed as a World Heritage
Sites by UNESCO. Some animal species that can be
commonly seen here are the blue sheep, the snow
leopard, the musk deer, the Himalayan brown bear
and the Himalayan Tahr (one of the Near
Threatened species).  Kullu is well connected by
motorable roads. Joginder Nagar is the nearest
railhead and the closest airport is Bhuntar in
Kullu.
