What to Do When a File Fails to Open

• Re-start Revit
• Re-start Computer
• Clean Window Catch (disk clean-up)
• Delete all Revit back-up files and any other
  excess Revit file
• If this doesnt work Ask a colleague to open
  the file in their Computer
• If it does open, it might be a hard drive issue
  in your local machine
• Finally, it will be necessary to compress the
  Central Model (this is part of maintenance of
  the Central file that must be done in a regular
  basis)
