What is Learning Pedagogy?
  • Learning Pedagogy content knowledge is a type
of knowledge that is unique to teachers, and is
based on the manner in which teachers relate
their pedagogical knowledge(what they know about
teaching) to their subject matter knowledge (what
they know about what they teach).

Activity Based Learning
  • Activity based learning is a subset of
    Experiential Learning where students come
together in one class and learn at their own pace
    through teacher-facilitated exercises. Activity
based learning or ABL describes a range of
    pedagogical approaches to teaching.

Blended Learning
  • Blended learning is a formal or informal
education program that combines online digital
media with traditional classroom methods. It
requires the physical presence of both teacher
and student, with some element of student control
over time, place, path, or pace. Blended learning
is also used in professional development and
    training settings.

Flipped Classroom
  • Flipped classroom is a pedagogical model in which
the typical lecture and homework elements of a
course are reversed. The flipped classroom model
includes short video lectures which are viewed by
students at home before the class session, while
the in-class time is devoted to exercises,
    projects, or discussions.

Project Based Learning
  • Project Based Learning allows students to gain
knowledge and skills by working for an extended
period to investigate and respond to an engaging
    and complex question, problem, or
challenge. Objective of Project based learning is
to increase the critical thing and problem
    solving skills.

  • Scenario based learning (SBL) uses interactive
scenarios to support active learning strategies
such as problem-based or case-based learning. It
normally involves students working their way
through a storyline, usually based around an
ill-structured or complex problem, which they are
    required to solve.

  • Avantika University is the first Design Centered
University in India. It focuses on giving
pedagogical knowledge. Avantika University is the
MIT Punes Campus in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh.
