What is Addiction?
Addiction is a disease in which a person in
unable to stop using any type of alcohol.
Addiction is a physical and psychological
inability to stop consuming alcohol or drugs even
though it starts harming your body and brain.
Addiction is a very harmful chronic disease.

Stages of Alcohol or Drug Addiction
Stage One of Alcohol Addiction Lets talk about
the different stages of alcohol addiction first.
There are mainly two types of addiction stages.
Very first stage is the functioning individual
with addiction. They lead a normal life and do
their job but internally they are suffering from
addiction.

Stage Two of Alcohol Addiction Second stage is
the non-functioning stage where an individual
lost his/her job and he/she and have to use the
drugs daily. The effects of the addiction become
worse over time. Addiction is a slow progressive
disease. Its very difficult to quit it but
possible.

Causes of Addiction
Family history Studies have shown that about 50
to 60 of the addiction is caused due to the
genetic factors and family problems.

Anxiety or depression Studies have shown that
about 15 to 30 of the addicted people suffer
from underlying depression.

Unable to cope up with stress Stress is also
termed as the most common cause of addiction.
Often when you are in stress you want to escape
and relax thus you start using drugs and alcohol.
