• The business community in New Brunswick is
  seeking the streamlining of the hiring process
  for overseas workers through its Atlantic
  Immigration Pilot. Many Employers are worried
  about the delay as it takes around a year for the
  arrival of workers for such positions needing an
  urgent solution. Moreover it has a job vacancy
  rate of 2.7 percent. The study of Canadian
  Federation of Independent Business says that the
  number of vacancies in the province is 6,300.
  Previously the issue was high unemployment, but
  presently it is the labor shortage.

Atlantic region faces a struggle

• The federal government in Canada is familiar with
  the Atlantic region, which faces an acute
  struggle in dealing with a shrinking labor force
  and an aging population. This region comprises
  Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick,
  and Newfoundland Labrador.
• The program also has an aim to bring 2,000 fresh
  immigrants annually for specific jobs to the

Work Experience

• Workers
• They need a work for minimum period of a year or
  equivalent of 1,560 hours in the past three
  years. The work has to be
• In an occupation
• It must be Paid
• It must be in skill type/level 0, A, B, or C of
  the  NOC
• In the Atlantic High-Skilled Program, workers
  must possess one year experience in skill
  type/level 0, A, or B.
• In the Atlantic Intermediate-Skilled Program,
  workers must possess one year experience in skill
  level C.
• The experience of outside or inside Canada is
  counted
• Furthermore, International Graduates do not need
  work experience.

Education

• Workers must have
• A Canadian secondary/post-secondary certificate,
  degree/diploma or,
• A foreign diploma, certificate, degree, or
  trade/apprenticeship credential. Candidates must
  also get an Educational Credential Assessment.
  The ECA should be issued at a date within five
  years while applying.

International Graduates

• Candidates must have
• A two-year diploma, degree, certificate, or
  trade/apprenticeship credential from a recognized
  institution in the Atlantic provincial region.
• Also be a student for full-time in the country
  for two years.
• Become a Graduate in the 12 months before
  application date.
• Living in an Atlantic Province for 16 months
  during the past two years before completing
  graduation.
• Possess a visa/permit to work, train, or study in
  Canada.

Job Offers

• Additionally in the high, or intermediate skill
  and global graduate programs, candidates should
  possess the job offer that is
• From a selected employer based in one of the
  Atlantic Provinces.
• Non-seasonal.
• Reviewed by the province
• Job offers for high-skilled workers must
• Be skill type/level 0, A, or B and remain in
  force for one year
• Job offers for intermediate-skilled workers must
• Be skill type/level 0, A, B, or C and also
  indeterminate
• Job offers for international graduates must
• Be skill type/level 0, A, B, or C and remain in
  force for one year
• A candidate must also meet requirements for
  employment of the job, as per the NOC.Moreover,
  there is no need for LMIA.

Language

• These Requirements apply to all three
  programsCandidates must
• Score level 4 obtained in CLB  inthe Niveaux de
  Compétence Linguistique Canadiens in French or
  the exam in English.
• Take language test and also meet the listening,
  speaking, reading and writing levels.
• Results also need to be less than two years ago
  while applying.

Criteria for Funds

• These Requirements apply to all three programs
• Candidates must also show the proof of sufficient
  money to support self and families after
  immigration. The Amount is based  on the family
  size and has family members a candidate is
  supporting.
• No Proof is required when a candidate is
  living/working in the country and also has a
  valid work permit.
• Settlement Plan
• A candidate has to undergo a need assessment
  prior to immigration. After it he/she gets a plan
  containing information regarding the community to
  move and the place to seek help after arrival.

Endorsement

• Employers should also complete an Endorsement
  Application for every candidate for fill an
  existing vacancy.
• Finally, the Candidates cannot apply to IRCC
  without having the endorsement, the job offer or
  a settlement plan.
