About Us
Joy Bungalow was the first resort built on Koh
Jum back in 1987, long a backpacker favorite and
the best-known resort on the Island. Joy
Bungalow is of Thailands true travelers meeting
points. All kinds of people, from all corners of
the globe have made Koh Jum, and in particular
Joy Bungalow, their escape from the rest of the
world. This small, unspoilt tropical hide-away
has a unique ambience which lends itself to quiet
contemplation and genuine feeling of inner
peace. The limited use of electricity and
current use of oil lamps enhance this feeling.

Foods Drinks
Our restaurant serves renowned home cooking of
Thai International dishes pen for B-fast ,
lunch dinner. Our liquor bar serves sodas ,
alcohol beverages, cocktails , beer and wine at
reasonable price. Enjoy our Beach Resort food.

General Information
For Sand, Sun, Beaches and Island lovers in its
natural setting. We are Joy Bungalow. A 34 units
bungalow resort set in tropical jungle on a
longest stretch of white sand beach on Jum
Island. Visit us if you like nature as it is
given to us. The beach is full of crabs and
jungle full of birds. Come see the sun set
behind Phi Phi Island. The best time of day when
white sand turns into gold. You'll find out why
foreigners call us "Heaven on Earth"!

Chartered Longtail Boat
Alternatively you can hire Limousine to Ban Lam
Kruad. Turn right at Ban Nhua Klong intersection
about 4 Kms. North of the Airport (THB 1,000).
Go all the way to the end of the route
approximately 35 kms. You will see Ban Lam Kruad
Pier. Charter a long tail boat (approximately Thb
1,500). Ask boat man to drop you off at Joy
Bungalow, Jum Island. Joy can arrange pick up
from airport and hire long tail boat, please
call 66 89 920 2443.

Coach
Coaches leave Bangkok for Krabi daily between
1600 - 1730 hours. VIP Coach cost Baht 850 for
one way ticket per person. Regular coach cost
Thb.600-Thb.1,000 for one way ticket You will
reach Krabi around 0530 - 0600 hours. Take Two
rows seats Taxi (Pick up truck taxi) or chartered
taxi to Krabi New Pier (Jirad Pier). Ride takes
20 minutes On return, coaches leave Krabi
1600-1730 arrive Bangkok before 0600 Hours.
