SUMMER CAMP

• The Modern School BPTP, Faridabad organized
  an Exhibition and Stage Presentation on May 26,
  2018 wherein the blooming buds impeccably
  displayed their dexterity, dramatics, singing and
  dancing skills that have been polished and
  refined during the Summer Camp. The program
  commenced with a formal welcome of the Chief
  Guest, Mr. Padamjeet Sehrawat, an epitome of
  versatility - a remarkable anchor, an incredible
  singer, a phenomenal commentator and a
  motivational speaker by the headmistress, Ms.
  Neetu Blest.
• With an endeavor to unveil the artistic
  instincts of the children, the end of the camp
  culminated with an interesting exhibition
  demonstrating the culinary and artistic finesse
  learnt by the children under the able-tutelage of
  teachers. The audience thoroughly enjoyed the
  talent display and kept motivating the tiny-tots
  The program ended on a very positive and
  rejuvenating note.

REPORT ON WORKSHOP Taking Care of Your Back

• The Modern School, BPTP, Faridabad invited
  eminent Neuro Surgeon Dr. Vikram Dua, who is
  currently attached with QRG Central Hospital and
  Research Centre. It was a unique workshop which
  was to address the backache related concerns of
  its employees. The audience was made aware of the
  myth and the actual fact based on the same topic.
  
• The primary prevention and the treatment
  options were vividly delineated. The
  effectiveness of yoga, cycling and swimming was
  emphasized. A clear concept regarding surgery was
  provided. It was informed that in future research
  will be directed at the development of a
  biological disk, retard degeneration of bones,
  retard overgrowth of soft tissues which make the
  canal narrow.

Culinary Workshop
The Modern School BPTP, Faridabad organized a
Culinary Workshop in collaboration with The
Radisson Blu Hotel, Faridabad on May 22, 2018 for
the students of all age-groups. The objective of
this workshop was to tap the nascent skills of
the amateur cooks. The skilled patissier briefly
discussed about the basic techniques of baking
and the art of garnishing food. The students also
voluntarily participated in preparing the
delicacies and relishing them thereafter. It
turned out to be a very engaging and interesting
session.

Mothers Day Celebration
Mother is an epicenter of the mankind.
Motherhood is a feeling which has no synonym. To
celebrate the motherhood, The Modern School
celebrated Mothers Day. The show was showcased
by children of Nursery and K.G. It was based on
the theme- The Golden Era (1970s and 1980s).
Mothers came dressed up in an attire related to
the theme. The event started with a dance
performance presented by the children of S3 and
S4 which was their self composition and the way
to tell mother we love you. It was followed by a
beautiful song sung by little singers of K.G.
Dance presented by the girls was applauded by
all. Few funfilled games were also there for
mothers which witnessed whole hearted
participation by all. A workshop on easy stencil
making taken up by Ms. Shweta Zarotia was highly
appreciated. Fashion show of mothers along with
their children was a sight to witness.

Fancy Dress activity-Celebrating Labour Day
To pay the gratitude and regards to our helpers
in the school and in our community, students from
Nursery to S4 celebrated Labour Day. Students of
Nursery and K.G. had a fancy dress activity to
celebrate the day. They came dressed up as
different community helpers like postman,
doctors, nurse, washer man, fireman etc. and
spoke few lines on the character they were
dressed up as. Children also prepared a card and
presented it to the nannies of their class and
other helpers. Such activities help in
inculcating in them value of giving respect to
our elders and towards the work they do for us.
It was a good learning experience for all.
