Historical Background

• Having spent early years in Panipat, Nanda, son
  of a government officer, moved to New Delhi at
  the age of 13. He went to St. Theresas Convent
  in Karnal, better known for its most famous
  alumni Kalpana Chawla, before studying at Delhis
  DAV Hansraj and DPS Mathura Road schools.
• After completing his schooling, in 1990 he took
  up Political Science (Hons) as a subject in Hindu
  College,the same year when Delhi University
  campus was in the grip of anti-reservation
  agitation and Ram Janmabhoomi movement.
