Deadbolts

• Deadbolts make for one of the best locking
  systems for doors. They offer protection against
  burglary and come in three different types-
• Lockable thumbturn
• Single
• Double
• These door locks have a knob or key without a
  spring. Their locking mechanism can withstand
  boring, battering, and other physical attacks. It
  can be used as a sliding lock with key for modern
  sliding doors.

Padlocks
Padlocks are permanently attached to the doors.
They are categorised into combination and keyed.
They have a looped-handle shackle shape, which is
a distinct feature. Their shouldered shackle
prevents bolt cutters from breaking into your
house.

Knob
They are installed in residential properties and
protect all the doors of a house. They are not
advisable for the external doors but can be used
in the interior ones. This lock has its cylinder
on the knob and hence is not as fortifying as an
external door lock must be.

Mortise Locks
Comprising of an internal system use a cam and a
setscrew that makes up the locking system,
mortise locks are more of locksets. They are used
glass doors, commercial doors, and apartment
doors. You can find them in both light and
heavy-duty models as per your requirement.
