• Mudumalai sanctuary
• Located near Ooty, Mudumalai sanctuary is a
  well-known place in Tamil Nadu. It is one of the
  favorite sites to see wild animals and experience
  nature in its purest form. Trucking is allowed in
  Mudumalai, but it is done only by the government,
  others are not allowed to enter without
  permission. It is crowded with wild animals so
  staying during the night period should be
  avoided.

• Indira Gandhi Wildlife Sanctuary
• Formerly known as Annamalai sanctuary, Indira
  Gandhi wildlife sanctuary is located between
  Tamil Nadu and Kerala. It is home to many wild
  animals such as elephants, tigers, deer and many
  varieties of animals. Trucking is allowed here,
  you can go by foot or jeep. Springtime is the
  best time to visit this sanctuary.

• Vandalur zoo
• Vandalur Zoo is one of the famous and oldest zoos
  in India. Situated on the outskirts of Chennai it
  is one of the best pastime places for the Chennai
  people. To get away from the traffic and
  pollution of Chennai vandalur zoo is the perfect
  place to get fresh air and spend your time.

• Mathur Aqueduct
• Built by the K.Kamaraj former chief minister of
  Tamil Nadu Mathur Aqueduct serves as the life
  source for many people in the Kanyakumari
  district. It is just 60 km from the Kanyakumari

  if you are planning to see the Mathur Aqueduct.
  Sometimes boating is allowed in this Aqueduct, we
  can sail in the small boats used for fishing by
  the local people.
