  • A root canal treatment is used to save a tooth
    that is badly infected, and involves the removal
    of infection from inside a tooth.
  • During the procedure, the nerve and pulp are
    removed and the inside of the tooth is cleaned
    and sealed.
  • Without the appropriate treatment, the tissue
    surrounding the tooth becomes infected and may
    result in the formation of abscesses
  • Although it is thought to be very painful, it is
