Formed in Paris, American Legion is a wartime
veterans organization that is formed by three
officers of the American Expeditionary Forces.
This legion is active in issue-oriented US
politics. It is considered Americas largest
veterans service organization that works every
day to uphold the time -honored values.
Chartered and incorporated by Congress in 1919
as a patriotic veterans organization, it is fully
devoted to mutual helpfulness. Moreover, in this
organization, the volunteer veterans organize the
commemorative events while operating through the
American Legion support activities. Terry Cornell
has been recently voted as the Commander of
American Legion Post 1993, Palos Park, Illinois.

Additionally, he has also been awarded for being
the Chairman of Chicago Police/ Knights of
Columbus Golf Outing. The money that has been
raised is then used for the disabled children and
other charities.

He has also served as a service officer for Sons
of The American Legion Squadron 991. Moreover, he
has also helped to run fishing outings for the
disabled veterans, played Santa Claus for
impoverished children and raised money for
developmentally disabled children.

Talking about his professional life, Terry
Cornell Jr has worked in Business Development and
Government Affairs at National City Mortgage from
2001-2003. Then he started working as a lobbyist
in BurkeCornell Consulting Company from
2003-2008.Then from 2008-2011, he has worked as a
lobbyist in Titleserv, Inc. After that, he has
served the post of business development in First
Mortgage Corporation from 2011-2012. Since 2012,
Terry Cornell has been working into business
development at Peoples Home Equity. He has also
owned a large security and investigative company,
but he has sold it years ago.

Concerning his education, Terry D Cornell has
completed his B.A. in Criminal Justice from Saint
Xavier University and M.A. in Business Law from
the Loyola University School of Law. During his
free time, he likes to read more about genealogy
and history. He also prefers hunting and fishing.
