Start Planning A Trip
The holiday season is just around the corner, and
even if you havent started shopping for
Christmas decorations just yet, it might be a
good idea to know where you can travel with the
kids in this period. No budget for travelling to
Lapland? No problem, the West Midlands feature
places of interest that are a lot more
convenient. The region boasts with holiday
activities and attractions that will keep
toddlers entertained for hours. Take them to
visit Santa, and spend quality time together
relishing the Christmas spirit. Weve prepared a
6-day travel itinerary for your family.
3
Make A Plan And Prioritise
The West Midlands is a vast metropolitan county
in the heart of England, so before heading out
you should have a plan. Check the web to see
where the best holiday-related attractions and
places of interest are. Birmingham, Coventry, and
Wolverhampton should be on your itinerary. These
cities have great accommodation facilities, and
they provide easy access to smaller towns and
countryside areas with amazing Christmassy
attractions and activities. Have a budget in mind
as well.
4
Polar Express Telford
The Polar Express travels all the way to the
North Pole, where Santa will be waiting. On the
train, families will be welcomed with Christmas
carols, catering, and lots of fun games and
activities. The train will make a stop at Spring
Village, where all passengers depart and prepare
to attend the multiple festive events.
5
The Blithbury Reindeer Lodge
Blithbury Reindeer Lodge has prepared
unforgettable Christmas experiences for families
travelling with toddlers. Upon arrival, all
tourists will be welcomed with a map to help them
understand the premises and know all about
available activities and attractions. Santas
Grotto is a major attraction of Blithbury.
6
Ice Rink And Christmas Grotto
The Grotto experience promises unforgettable
memories. It can be reached via a walkway and the
path is covered in fake snow and magical
Christmas scenes. Youll be taken to see Santa by
a cute little elf, and after having a nice chat
the kids can pick a toy from a wide variety
available.
7
Birminghams National Sea Life
The National Sea Life Centre in particular, is a
Christmas jewel. Tourists can admire the
underwater Christmas tree, watch holiday-inspired
4D movies, and meet Santa at his famous Grotto.
This season, the goal is to transform the sea
life centre into a winter wonderland. They have
many events planned for families with kids, crazy
decorations, and activities for everyone.

out the Snow Dome. Play in the real snow with
your kids, enjoy the slides and rides, enjoy
snowball fights, and attend the Santa stage show
on site. Kids will be delighted to meet Santas
real-life reindeer and about what they would like
to get for Christmas.
Hawkstone Park is a beautiful place to explore
with the kids regardless of the season. It has
stunning caves, natural landscapes, nice views
