  • Pipes manufactured from A335 grade of Alloy steel
have a dual nature, favorable to any application
they are used in. Unlike other metal grades, used
in manufacturing the likes of Carbon Steel API
14L Steel pipes, Alloy Steel 335 pipes exhibits
an increase in strength mainly due to the
presence of Molybdenum in its composition, which
in turn increases the physical endurance of any
    construction. Present Molybdenum content also
changes the physical nature of the pipes during
the process of production, from semi-hardened to
completely hardened. The other half of the this
dual nature is signified by the use of Chromium
in its composition, which contributes to the
    anti-corrosive and anti-degradation properties of
    the pipes.
  • The American standard of Alloy steel products has
nicknamed the A335 grade as Chrome-Moly, mainly
due to its chemical composition consisting of
only two superior metals, Molybdenum and
Chromium. Having a ferrous nature, is another add
on feature contributing to the durable
utilitarian capabilities of the alloy and its by
    products.
