Title: Mount Kenya trekking

When we think about touring to Africa, we think
about vast savanna plains, tropical beaches,
lions and leopards. But just south of the Equator
stands Mount Kilimanjaro, a glacier capped
summit, the tallest free standing mountain in the
globe. A Kilimanjaro climbing holiday is on
several adventurous travelers bucket list. A
mixture of conquering one of the 7 peaks, and
accomplishing something exceptional makes
Kilimanjaro a fulfilling destination.
Climbing Mt Kilimanjaro can limply be compared to
hiking from the Equator to the North Pole, in
regards of climate zones. Youll be trekking from
the low lying civilized regions of the lower
slopes right up to the Arctic tundra of the Ice
Cap zone. It is enthralling to observe how the
plant life changes from the lush green splendor
of the montane forests to the harsh arctic
desert. While the peak may be the end goal it
is the journey that is spectacular.
Everyone has their own reason for wanting to
climb to the Roof of Africa. For many, its a
physical challenge, for others its deeply
personal. For some its all about the summit, for
others its about the scenery. Whatever the
reason you want to climb Mt Kilimanjaro it is
going to be a trip and adventure of your life.
