Taj Mahal of Agra is considered as a symbol of
India's fame and love. Uttar Pradesh's third
largest district Agra is very important in
historical terms. Being the favorite city of the
Mughals, he made Agra the capital before Delhi.
According to history, Ibrahim Lodi had settled
this city in 1504.

ABOUT TAJ MAHAL
Taj Mahal was built in the memory of Mughal
Emperor Shah Jahan (from reign 1628 to 1658) in
the memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal, the
construction work of the Taj Mahal began in 1632.
Shah Jahan wanted the world to remember Mumtaz
and his love story, that is why he wanted to make
some historical heritage in his memory. In which
Taj Mahal was built The construction of the Taj
Mahal was completed in about 1643 but still to
enhance its beauty and work up to 10 years. The
construction of the Taj Mahal was completed in
about 1653 and at that time the cost was
approximately 32 million rupees, the construction
of the Taj Mahal was done by 25,000 craftsmen.
Ustad Ahmad Lahauri is often regarded as its
chief architect.

ABOUT SHAH JAHAN
The name of Shah Jahan is taken as a part of a
fortune which aims to make Taj Mahal the world's
most beautiful building for the sake of its love.
They had built the Taj Mahal in memory of their
Begum Mumtaz Mahal. In that era, the cost of
building Taj Mahal was Rs 6 crores. Shah, where
his popularity and glory were very popular during
his time due to luxury. Shahjahan is identified
as the king who succeeds in answering the
breakthroughs of Adilshah and Nizamshah, by
defeating him with his power. Shahjaho is known
as the prince of the makers, the buildings built
by Shahjaho - the red fort of Delhi, the jubilant
mango, the junket special, Delhi's Jama Masjid,
the Agra Moti Masjid, the Taj Mahal etc.

ABOUT MUMTAJ MAHAL
Mumtaz Mahal, whose real name was 'Arjumand Banu
Begum' was Mughal Empress and Mughal ruler Shah
Jahan's favorite mascara. In the memory of
Mumtaz, her husband Shah Jahan constructed 'Taj
Mahal' in Agra.Mumtaz, daughter of Asr Khan,
brother of Noorjahan, who was married to Khurram
(Shahjahan), son of Mughal emperor Jahangir. At
the age of 19, Mumtaz got married to Shah Jahan
on May 10, 1612. Mumtaz was the third wife of
Shah Jahan, but soon he became his favorite wife.
There were 14 offspring of Shah Jahan and Mumtaz,
who had four sons named Dara Shikoh, Shah Shuja,
Aurangzeb and Murad Baksh.Mumtaz passed away in
Burhanpur on June 17, 1631 while giving birth to
14th child, daughter Gauhara Begum. Later, his
body was brought to Agra, where Shah Jahan built
his famous memorial Taj Mahal on his grave.

ARCHITECHURE TEXTURE
The Taj Mahal was constructed in view of Persian
and ancient Mughal traditions. Most of the
inspiration they got from Mughalaklin other
buildings such as Gur-i-Amir, Humayun's Tomb,
Ishtid-ud-Dulah Tomb, and Jama Masjid. In the
ancient Mughal period, the buildings were often
constructed from Lal Balua stones but Shahjahan
decided to build the Taj Mahal with a white
marble. From this, the beauty of the Taj Mahal
has got four moons.

BEGUM MUMTAZ MAHAL TOMB
Mumtaz Mahal grave is kept in the middle of the
Taj Mahal. Begum Mumtaz Mahal Tomb is made of
large and white marble, their tomb has been very
well-decorated. According to the Muslim
tradition, there is a wide-minded mind of the
grave. Therefore, the body of Shahjahan and
Mumtaz is buried in its relatively comparatively
simple, real tombs, whose faces are on the side
and Mecca. Mumtaz Mahal's grave is located in the
inner room.
