Introduction
1. Although the IIT JAM IIT JEE will look
similar and they spell nearly same but there is a
significant difference between these two
exams. 2. IIT JEE is the first entrance exam
among the top entrance exams conducted in India
after 12th. The exam is conducted for the 12th
passed students to pursue their bachelors degree
at IITs, NITs and other reputed Indian colleges
and universities. 3. IIT JAM is the national
level entrance exam conducted by the joint
venture of IITs (Indian Institutes of Technology)
and IISc (Indian Institutes Of Science) to admit
the student for the masters degree at various
IITs, IISc and NITs.

IIT JEE IIT JAM Eligibility
IIT JEE Eligibility IIT JEE eligibility for the
exam is divided into the Age limits and the
education qualification which is given
below Age Limits Candidates should have been
born on or after October 1, 1992. The
candidates from SC, ST and PwD. category get
five-year relaxation i.e. should have been born
before October 1, 1987. Education
Qualification At least 75 marks in class 12th
or the top 20 percentiles in the boards. The
candidate should qualification the exam with 5
subjects in which physics, chemistry and
mathematics are must. The student has 3
attempts to qualify the IIT JEE exam.

IIT JEE IIT JAM Eligibility
  • IIT JAM Eligibility
  • IIT JAM is conducted in the month of February and
    the eligibility of the IIT JAM exam are
  • The candidate from any nationality is eligible to
    give the exam.
  • No age limit is associated with the IIT JAM exam.
  • The general category candidate should have 55
    marks in their bachelors degree.
  • The candidate from non creamy layer should have
    50 marks compulsory in the bachelors degree.
  • 5. The candidate can appear for two subjects
    tests simultaneously by filling the form
    separately.
