In 1980, Dr. Ronald Whitford founded a
full-service veterinary hospital named St.
Bethlehem Animal Clinic for serving the pet
owners in multiple locations, such as Tennessee,
Oakridge, Fort Campbell, Oak Grove, Clarksville
and Montgomery County. He served the pet owning
community therein for 23 years. He provided
excellent services with state-of-the-art
equipment, pharmacy, lab, examination rooms,
medical assets and more.

Dr. Ronald Whitford is a highly experienced and
acknowledged veterinarian, who has been
practicing for more than 45 years and has gained
a considerable experience under his belt. He has
special interest in surgery, feline medicine and
dermatology. For more than 35 years, he has been
a major speaker, writer, as well as an amazing
consultant to the people in the veterinary
profession. Concerning his publications, he has
published over 350 articles in a number of
veterinary publications.

He was featured in the Veterinary Forum in April
2004 edition for an exemplary hospital design.

Talking about his educational background, Dr.
Ronald Whitford began veterinary studies after
being accepted at the Auburn University School of
Veterinary Medicine. He graduated at the top 10
position in the class and obtained a Doctorate of
Veterinary Medicine in 1972. In addition to this,
he is a philanthropist, who has built three
Habitats for Humanity Houses. He is also the sole
supporter of Kitten Adoption Program, local youth
sports teams, and low cost community service
spay/neuter program.
