• According to Vastu Shastra, the goodness and
  virtue of a plot of a land can be checked in
  various ways. One such method is by going to the
  plot and taking ten deep breadths.
• If it emanates positive vibrations, you would
  feel happy and relaxed. Another method involves
  digging a 1.5 feet deep pit in the center of the
  plot. Fill this pit with water and wait for a few
  minutes.
• If the water level in the pit goes down by 60,
  you should not purchase the plot. If the water
  level goes down by less than 50, the plot is
  average but if the level of water remains the
  same or goes down only by around 10 percent, the
  plot is very good and powerful and is definitely
  worth purchasing.
• Even the texture of soil on the plot can
  determine the fertility and goodness of the plot.
  If the soil of the plot sticks to your hand on
  holding it tight, the land can be termed good.

  purchase or build on a plot is not located next

• I even do not advice building a structure near a
  temple or a church as the apexes of both these
  houses of worship release the negative energies

  sure that your land is not squashed between two

  should not be any mountains or large buildings to
  the north of your house.
• Properties that are covered with green
  vegetation, trees, plants and grass are good.
