When it comes to dieting, weight loss and
exercise, there are myriad of misconceptions
about the best route(s) to improve overall health
and well-being.

Lets debunk some of the more common myths below,
and educate ourselves on how to implement the
proper balance between diet and exercise for a
sustainable routine.

It Is Easy to Lose Weight by Only Eating Once a
Day Eating a single meal per day is not only
unhealthy, but doing so also drives your body
into survival mode, since it doesnt know when to
expect the next intake.

As a result, food that IS consumed mainly
converts into fat storage. This is your bodys
way of preserving itself.

In addition, most people who follow this practice
tend to eat much larger portions (which can lead
to high blood pressure and blood sugar levels).

A much better approach would be to eat three
smaller meals, and snack two to three times
throughout the entire day.

Ideally, you should be eating every two to three
hours to keep the body fueled and energized.
Just remember to measure out your portions to
avoid overeating.

Initially, this may seem like youre eating less.
However, youd be surprised by how full and
satiated your body feels when eating smaller
meals more frequently.

I Only Need to Change My Eating Habits to Lose
Weight While some do make noticeable progress
and shed weight during the first month or so of a
new diet, many will eventually plateau.

At this point, its even possible to actually
start regaining some of the lost weight. As
such, its extremely important to understand that
diet and exercise go hand in hand.

Having proper and healthy eating habits plays a
significant role in weight loss, but at the end
of the day its all a numbers game. In order
to lose weight and keep it off, you must burn
more calories than you consume.

when engaged in an interactive activity where
