Eugene Daniels is a highly experienced
multidisciplinary interior designer in Halifax
Nova Scotia. He attended Maryland Institute
College of Arts and obtained his Bachelor of Arts
degree (Dual Major in General Fine Arts and
Interior Architecture) in the year 1989. Next to
this, he completed his Masters degree in
Architecture from Morgan State University in
1994. At present, he is pursuing his Ph. D. in
Educational Administration Social Policy.

Eugene Daniels manages his own design
consultation practice (Studio D) in Halifax, Nova
Scotia. He works with engineers, artists,
contractors and manufacturers to achieve the best
design team for his clients. Some of his recent
projects include the Halifax Grammar School,
Paper Chase Café and conceptual design proposals
for the Halifax Seawall Immigration Annex.

Eugene Daniels builds eHomes, which are modular
structures designed keeping simplicity in mind,
to facilitate rapid deployment, yet to be also
flexible and durable. They are affordable and
functional shelters that respect the users
dignity while fostering a sense of community.
Eugene develops eHomes for full-scale
prototyping. He utilizes the CAVE technology to
develop new technological, environmental and
architectural concepts and designs. He also
explores sustainable habitat and community
design, and more age-friendly technologies and
uses for his eHome project.

Eugene Daniels is proficient with many office and
design computer applications including
People-Soft, Auto CAD, MS PowerPoint, and
Photoshop, Microsoft Word and MS Excel. He has
also served as the Board of Directors/ Volunteer,
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Maryland, Inc.
