computing, and in particular the possibilities
offered by Cloud Computing in its broadest sense.
We will discuss the various flavours of Cloud
Computing, from a private Cloud hosted and
maintained by an organisations own IT service to
a fully-outsourced Cloud hosted and maintained by
a third-party service provider.

  delivery of hosted services over the internet.

differently, depending on the provider. But many
provide a friendly, browser-based dashboard that
makes it easier for IT professionals and
developers to order resources and manage their
accounts. Some cloud computing services are also
designed to work with REST APIs and a
command-line interface (CLI), giving developers
multiple options.

Hosted virtual desktop (HVD) is a user interface

on the user's computer or the corporate network.
