Title: Business Planning in Puget Sound

Business Planning in Puget Sound
About Us
  • The sole purpose of our law firm is to protect
your loved ones, your assets, and your legacy
    through estate planning solutions designed
    exclusively for you.
  • Asset protection is integrated with most estate
plans and comes in many different forms. Many
assets necessary for day-to-day living are
subject to bankruptcy protection laws (e.g.,
homestead exemption laws). There are also asset
protection strategies that involve planning, such
as domestic asset protection trusts and
    irrevocable trusts.
  • Legacy planning, more than any other area of
estate planning, reflects who we are and the
imprint we will leave for our loved ones. A
carefully designed estate plan is more likely to
preserve family harmony and values. How we
choose to transfer our assets can be as simple as
relying upon state intestacy laws or as complex
as creating dynasty trusts that will provide for
    future generations of beneficiaries.
  • A business owner has several entity structures
from which to choose. While the limited
liability company is the most flexible in terms
of formalities and tax elections, it is not the
right choice for all businesses or activities.
The entity selection process considers many
factors, including, but not limited to, liability
    protection, income and employment taxes,
    accounting requirements, formality requirements,
and the ability to raise additional capital.
