Hi there. Today we are sharing easy
Paella recipe with all of you. Spanish Paella is
a rice based dish from Spanish cuisine. Paella
brings families together and is incredibly
delicious. There are varieties of traditional
Paella recipes in Spain and we chose one of them
to show you today. So, lets get started.
How to make simple and easy Paella at home

  • Ingredients

Half kilogram of chicken breast
800 grams of Paella Rice (if not available use
short grain rice)
Some smoked paprika
1 large red pepper
1 large onion
3 to 4 garlic cloves
3 to 4 cups of chicken stock
100 grams of peas
5 to 6 shrimps
1 or 2 large tomatoes
Salt and pepper as needed
A little bit of saffron
¼ cup of olive oil

Heat up your pan and add your olive oil in it. It
is ideal to have a paella pan, but if you dont
have this, any available pan can be used with
flat bottom. Add chicken and fry it on high or
medium heat for just 1 or 2 minutes. When chicken
becomes slightly brown, remove it from pan.

In the same pan, add a little bit of olive oil
and add your onion, red pepper and the garlic in
it. Stir fry it until the fragrance comes. Now
add salt and black pepper and keep frying it
until onion loses its water.

Now place your chicken back in the pan.

Add diced tomatoes.

After frying it for 1 to 2 minutes, add rice
followed by smoke paprika. Stir fry this mixture
for 2 minutes more and mix it continuously.

Now pour chicken stock and mix.

Add saffron and boil it for 20 minutes more. At
this point, dont cover your pan and cook rice
uncovered. Depending on the kind of rice you are
cooking, it might be possible that you need some
extra stock to cook your rice.

After 20 minutes, place shrimps in your pan. You
can use prawns, mussels, squids whatever you
like. Sprinkle your peas at this point.

Now cover the pan and let it cook for 10 minutes
on low heat.

After 10 minutes, open the cover and check if
your shrimps become pink. If yes, then Paella is
ready to be enjoyed. Garnish your Paella with
lemon pieces and enjoy.
