Joe Anthony Correia is an Escalon based dairy
professional. He works at his family run dairy
business Correias Dairy, which was started by his
grandfather Jose Correia many years ago.

Joes grandfather lived in Portugal before
relocating to Escalon for building a dairy. He
had his three children all born in his native
country. His wife kept his side throughout his
days of struggle, and eventually they moved to
Escalon and established a dairy. The dairy is the
familys main home. It is the place where the
family reunites.

Besides working at the family dairy, Joe Anthony
Correias father, Joe also runs a business in
beef cows. He currently has Black Angus beef cows
scattered in the valley. A couple of times a
year, the family brands their cows also known to
people as "brandings. Joe Anthonys mother, Lisa
Correia works at MARVAL food stores and makes
great tri tips which are served at these
brandings. The family also donates a cow for the
Portuguese fiesta every year.
