Corey Scott Dowd is a Greensboro-based young
professional with experience in the food service
industry. He has worked at Edible Arrangements,
where he was a delivery driver and was also
responsible for help with fruit basket
preparation, work area clean up, etc.

Prior to working at Edible Arrangements, Corey
was a sandwich and pizza maker at Newks
Restaurant. Here, he was involved in food
preparations, clean up, and filling customer
orders.

Coreys work experience also includes his job at
Tropical Smoothie Café, where he was responsible
for food preparation, smoothie creations, quick
and courteous customer food service, cash
register operations, and work area clean up.

Currently, Corey Scott Dowd is moving into The
Student Quarters near the University of NC at
Greensboro. He will be starting a 2-year degree
program in Sound and Lighting Technology at
Guilford Technical Community College.

Corey Scott Dowd graduated from New Garden
Friends School in Greensboro, NC in 2014. While
pursuing his studies, he got the chance to be a
part of many projects that were focused on
community service.

Some of these projects include Project Bark
(animal housing deliveries pet assistance in
neighborhoods visited by Project Bark), Greyhound
Rescue, and support at a retirement home.

Corey also performed repairs at Josephs House
and provided personal service to animal welfare
groups and a lunch backpack program.
