working at Correias Dairy, his family dairy
business in Escalon. He has been living in
Escalon with his family for a long time.

The family started the dairy business many years
ago with just one cow. Joes grandfather, Jose
Correia always wanted to have his own dairy and
was very determined to fulfill this dream. His
wife kept his side during the process and
supported him in every possible way. During these
years, they had three children all born in
Portugal.

Eventually, the entire family moved to Escalon
where they established their own dairy by the
name Correias Dairy. With the combined
efforts of all the family members, the dairy has
maintained itself for a long time.

As the dairy business grew, Joes father, Joe
built a business in beef cows. Currently, he has
Black Angus beef cows scattered throughout the
valley. A couple of times a year, the family
brands their cows also known to people as
"brandings". Joes mother Lisa Correia works at
MARVAL food stores and makes the best tri tips
which are served at these brandings.

Joe Anthony Correia from Escalon enjoys working
at his family dairy and takes immense pride in
the knowledge he has gained about dairy business
in all these years.

Joe is an alumnus of Utah State University. His
college was focused on dairy science, which
helped him develop better understanding of this
subject.

As a youngster, Joe Anthony Correia from Stockton
played soccer and baseball. Later, he started to
participate in four-wheel-drive races where he
was awarded first and second place trophies.
