Introduction

• Jose Pineiro is a highly skilled, talented IT

Professional Career

• Jose Pineiro started his professional journey
  with The Apollo Group in 1988 by joining Apollo
  Ship Chandlers, Inc. At this company, his hard
  work and dedication resulted in increase in
  business growth of the company. Over time, he
  earned a strong background in different software
  development, database design, and system analysis
  areas.

When he joined Apollo Ship Chandlers, he was
assigned the duty of developing a new requisition
system for cruise ships. The project was
completed in December 2000, following which he
was promoted to IT Manager was charged with the
implementation of a new HR system. It was a
challenging task, but he worked with dedication
and successfully implemented the system by the
end of 2004. This system was significant in
saving the companys lots of money in labor,
travel arrangements for the crew and freight
charges.

In 2005, he was promoted to the Director of
Information and Technology, and handled
operations of all Apollo related companies.
Responsibilities included development and
implementation of software applications like
order processing, HR system, etc.

Interests

• Jose Pineiro is a fun loving person who believes
  that life should be lived to the fullest. When
  free from work, he enjoys boating, scuba diving,
  fishing, and jogging. He keeps himself up-to-date
