  • ? 6 million deaths worldwide each year due to
    tobacco
  • ? Approximately 10 people die from a tobacco
    related diseases every minute
  • ? Smoking increases the risk of more than 60
    diagnoses
  • ? Tobacco use is the predominant cause of many
    public health diseases

Cancers
  • Tobacco smoke contains more than 7,000 chemicals.
    About 70 of them are known to cause cancer.
    Smoking cigarettes is the number-one risk factor
    for lung cancer. But, smoking can affect your
    entire body and cause more than 18 type of
    cancers.

Heart Disease
  • The chemicals in tobacco smoke harm your blood
    cells and damage the function of your heart. This
    damage increases your risk for Atherosclerosis,
    Cardiovascular disease, Aneurysms,etc..
