Glocal is located in the foothills of the
Shivalik Range and is therefore away from modern
cities. It is however very well connected
through roads through cities like Ponta Sahib
which is further linked to Jagadhri and
Chandigarh, Saharanpur and Dehradun. Availing
public transport to the campus can be really
taxing on the students and uncertain in terms of
time. The university provides transport facility
student service and has its own buses to
facilitate the travel of day scholars to and from
the university campus. The transport is
university owned and therefore reduces
dependencies on vendors which in turn ensure that
students arrive on time and leave on time. This
apart from inculcating discipline and punctuality
among students saves their time and efforts which
can be put to some creative and productive use.
To add to it, these facilities are available at a
very nominal charge. Since the university is
remotely located, bus services to Dehradun,
Saharanpur and Ponta Sahib run on weekends for
the staff and students for work and recreational
purposes.

Although Glocal is located away from modern
cities, it has an in-house acclaimed medical
facility student service. It has a full-fledged
hospital which has tie-ups with the best
hospitals in cities like Dehradun and Saharanpur.
The university has a Chemist and Drug Store along
with 247 Ambulance services. Additionally, every
department and lab has first aid services and a
medical officer is available at all times to the
students for consultation. Ailing students are
taken well care of and if needed are transferred
to big city hospitals like that in Dehradun and
Saharanpur. Students are also insured under a
comprehensive and thoughtful medical insurance.

They are entitled for hospitalization medical
claim for 50,000 INR and daycare medical claim
for 10,000 INR. The claim is valid for non-listed
hospitals too. Insurance operates pan India
outside the campus too and is available
247.   Nominated parents of students are covered
against personal accident insurance of 1, 50,000
INR. In an unlikely situation of accidental death
or Permanent disability of student's guardian,
the amount is released to the student concerned
to defray expenses to complete the course of
study with the University.
