Method 1 The File is Corrupt But You Are Able
To Open It
Step 1 Ok, now open the corrupted file. Now go
to FilegtExport.

Step 2 Now select InDesign Interchange from
the drop down option of Export Panel. Name the
file and save it on your PC. If everything work
properly then the file extension will look like
this filename.inx

Step 3 Now close the corrupt files and open the
file .inx that you have just created. When the
file gets opened then you will see that it has
name as Untitled Document. Moreover the entire
design and content will be bug free.

Step 4 Alright, now to make sure whether it is
a corrupt free or not, just double check the
file. For example just resize the particular
image to frame size and see whether it is
crashing or not. Hopefully, all goods look and
the file is bug free. Now, check the links are
linked correctly or not. One can check the
images, colors and typefaces by using
FilegtPreflight option.

Step 5 Now after checking the files you can now
save the files on your PC by using the option
FilegtSave. Thats it!!! Now you have fully
restored InDesign file.
Method 2 When You Are Not Able To Open Corrupt
InDesign File
The above process works only when you are able to
open your corrupted or damaged InDesign Files.
But incase if your file is inaccessible or when
you are not able to open it, then in such case
you can use appropriate INDD File Repair Tool to
repair and fix damaged or corrupt InDesign files
and it easily retrieve all contents and design
like text, images, notes, media files, bookmark,
links, animation, shapes, characters, etc. The

Steps To Repair Corrupt InDesign Adobe Files
Step 1 Download and Install InDesign Repair

to proceed further.

Select File button so that you can browse the
desired destination in your Mac and then select
