Oriental Designer Rugs was established in the
famous Rug Importer-Wholesaler district of
mid-town Manhattan in New York City. Since the
Southeast was growing fast and Atlanta was the
fastest growing city (due to the forthcoming
Olympics, among other reasons), the Company moved
to Atlanta in 1994 setting up a permanent Show
Room in the prestigious Atlanta Merchandise Mart,
a venue for the two world-famous Rug Shows. Since
the business was growing, they took up an
additional larger space in the Amsterdam Walk
area close to Piedmont Park stayed there for 19
years. Finally moving to the present location in
Atlantas West Midtown Designer District (Huff Rd
- Howel Mill Rd area) in 2013.
