Title: Ways for Staff to Bond within Trade Show Exhibits

1
Ways for Staff to Bond within Trade Show Exhibits
2
  • The art of communication is a great one. Think
about how many times people meet and conversation
establishes the moment. The impression an
individual gives to the world has a lot to do
with how they feel about themselves. Kill them
with confidence and youll have no problem
achieving anything in life such as successful
    trade show exhibits.

3
  • Even though you would love to bring 20 people
from your company to staff your booth, honestly,
not all of them have what it takes. The people
who are chosen to staff exhibits need to be
interactive, able to work and stand for 8 hours
on their feet, and form those important bonds
    with trade show attendees.

4
  • Knowing each persons strengths and weaknesses
allow for you to strategize who should be placed
    where. Additionally, sales representatives need
to withstand the pressure of answering those hard
    questions.

6
  • Body language is another key factor when
interacting within trade show exhibits. With the
advance of technology, eye contact seems less and
less apparent. In order to form a proper business
relationship, eye contact is a must. Crossing
your arms signals to the other person that youre
not interested in the current conversation.

7
  • Vigorously tapping your foot and finger shows an
anxious tendency and potentially impatient ways.
Last, but not least, looking over the booth
attendees shoulder shows you could care less
    about doing business with them.

8
  • There are certain things you need to do when
exhibiting and training your staff. When
potential clients are talking to you and you
cant answer the simplest of questions, there is
definitely a problem. Proper training should
include information about the company, basic
knowledge of all products, and sales tactics for
    exhibit staff.

10
  • If a sales representative doesnt know a
    particular answer, (exchange contact information
first) then have him or her find out the right
answer and get back to the prospect later.

11
  • When you listen to a prospect fully, without
interrupting them with your sales pitch, it gives
the impression that youre interested in what
they have to say. Hear what they are looking for
and use it as a spring board for the
    conversation.

12
  • It is beyond rude to talk over someone so treat
others how you want to be treated. Sales happen
when you allow the prospect to guide the way in a
    trade show exhibit atmosphere.

13
  • Be considerate of your hard working staff, reward
them with a break. The last thing you want is
overworked, complaining booth staff who are
practically begging for time away from the
    exhibit.

14
  • Be considerate and give them a five to ten minute
break to clear their head. Have enough booth
staff for exhibits, so another level of stress
isnt added to the hectic environment.

15
  • Overall, praise and encourage your booth staff to
keep on going. Thank them for helping represent
    the company. Remember, positive reinforcement
goes a long way when working crazy hours at trade
    show exhibits.
